The parallel hybrid system of Niro, consisting of a 1.6 liter GDI gasoline engine, electric motor and six-speed double clutch gearbox, it brings on a total power of 104 kW / 141 hp. The plug-in hybrid sprints in 10.8 seconds to 100 km / h, and a maximum of 172 km / h is fast. In spite of the lithium-ion polymer battery with a capacity of 8.9 kilowatt-hours, which can be charged to a 230-volt outlet in 135 minutes, the luggage compartment has a capacity 324 liters. Offered is the Niro in versions 7 Edition, vision and spirit. Even the entry variant comprises, inter alia, a two-zone climate control, audio system, Bluetooth, a steering wheel, electrically folding mirrors, fog lamps, daytime running lights and LED 16-inch alloy wheels. Also still on board are seven airbags, an adaptive cruise control system, including front collision warning, an autonomous emergency braking assistant with pedestrian detection and lane departure warning. A lane change assistant, and a cross-traffic Warner are optional depending on the design. This also applies to a number of other comfort and safety features.
