Suzuki is the most successful brand in the world in small cars. The Japanese carmaker said last year sold more than 2.61 million vehicles in the A and B segment - and as many units as any other brand. This emerges from an analysis of the consulting firm IHS Automotive.
10 percent market share
Suzuki reached on micro and small cars thus a market share of 10.4 percent. That is, one in ten new micro or small car comes from the brand. Behind Honda followed with 2.15 million cars (8.5 percent market share) and Hyundai (2.12 million units, 8.4%).
